Supporting competitive school sport in Wolverhampton

The Wolverhampton Association for Sport in Primary Schools (WASPS) exists to promote physical activity and competitive sport within the City's primary schools.

A range of competitions across many sports are organised during the year. In addition to competitions taking place during the school day, activities are also organised after school and at weekends.

The Association is managed by teachers and ex-teachers, all of whom believe passionately in the power of sport to engage and enthuse children.

Whilst the Association is mainly concerned with supporting Wolverhampton primary schools, other schools within neighbouring local authorities join as Associate Members and are welcome to participate in our activities.

For further details please contact an officer of the Association via the Contacts page.
