Mixed Rounders Leagues
Entries for the rounders leagues are now open, entries close Friday 15th March. Entry via WASPS website.
Leagues start on Monday 8th April 2024
All results need to be in by Friday 7th June 2024
Finals: Tuesday 25th June at TBC (neutral venue) 3:45-5pm (approximate timings).
Venue: Schools to organise their own fixtures throughout the year – results email to lrichards@uplandsjuniorschool.co.uk
Who: Year 5/6 Mixed Compete
Number: Squad of 9 with a maximum of 5 boys or 5 girls in a squad.
Competition:
Once all entries have been received the leagues will be emailed by Wednesday 20th March at the latest. Schools are then responsible for organising their fixtures and results should be emailed to Miss L Richards following each game (lrichards@uplandsjuniorschool.co.uk). I ask all teams to make every effort to fulfil your fixtures. If you are unable to fulfil a fixture after making every effort to contact the lead name, please email me to let me know and forward emails you have sent to the school so that I can award your school the win. If for any reason you need to withdraw from the leagues, let me know asap and I will let the schools in your league know.
I have attached a link below for the England rounders rules that need to be adhered to at every game. Please can you ensure there is a member of staff from each school umpiring together (2 umpires: batting and fielding).
